Recipient of the 2026 Pike Dog Wellness Humanitarian Award at the Junior Iditarod.

Keira was recognized by the Jr. Iditarod veterinary team for demonstrating exceptional, consistent dog care while maintaining a competitive team. Her thoughtful leadership on the trail and commitment to responsible mushing practices exemplify the values this award celebrates.

Keira received a $2,000 scholarship, an engraved trophy, and three tickets to the Iditarod Musher Banquet in Anchorage, where she will be honored during race week.
