Did you know…Denali National Park has a Dog Kennel?!

The historic Denali National Park Kennel holds a truly unique place within the National Park Service. It introduces the tradition of dog mushing to millions of visitors each year and is admired around the world for keeping this piece of Alaskan heritage alive.

What many people don’t know is that you can support the Denali Kennel financially. The National Park Service maintains a dedicated fund just for the Kennel and its one-of-a-kind mission in Alaska.

The Pike Family and Pike Dog Wellness are proud supporters and contributors — and we encourage everyone who loves Alaska’s sled dogs and wilderness traditions to join us. As filmmaker Ken Burns once called the National Parks “America’s Best Idea,” we couldn’t agree more — and we want to make sure this remarkable Alaskan tradition lives on for future generations of Denali visitors.

The Kennel embraces wilderness values, honors traditional Alaska Native lifestyles, and keeps the history of Denali National Park alive in a way that captures the imagination of people everywhere. Let’s keep this symbol of Alaska in harness for years to come!

Please note: Credit and debit cards can’t be accepted at this time — so donations must be mailed.
